CCS appoints Wildfire to build brand awareness of small cell backhaul solution
Cambridge, 4th August 2015 – Cambridge Communication Systems (CCS), creator of the first self-organising small cell microwave backhaul system, has appointed technology PR agency Wildfire to help build its position as the leading provider of wireless backhaul. CCS’ system provides technology that directs our mobile calls and data to prevent busy mobile networks experiencing congestion.Wildfire will promote CCS’ solutions to network operators and vendors while focusing on the importance of backhaul in driving next-generation mobile network deployments. The first campaign took place at Small Cell World Summit in June and, as a result of a successful event, Wildfire’s remit has been extended. Wildfire will now combine the creation of original content for CCS along with continuing to build media and analyst relations.Helen Stalker, VP Marketing at CCS commented: “The Wildfire team showed an excellent understanding of our industry and the challenges mobile operators face when deploying small cells in busy urban areas. There’s a clear need for small cells but backhaul is a significant challenge, something that CCS is well placed to solve.”David Marsden, Director at Wildfire, commented: “As mobile networks evolve, the demand for small cells will significantly increase and CCS is already seeing a lot of interest from mobile operators around the world. CCS’ wealth of real-world experience of small cell deployments that will be invaluable not just to the PR campaign, but to anyone involved in deploying small cell networks.”
